Wheelchair Sitting Competition

PE1 athletes with quadriplegia or high paraplegia or other eligible criteria who have full function of at least one upper limb and impair trunk balance. They need back support wheelchair ambulation due to loss of leg function and trunk stability

PE2 athletes with hemiplegia or other eligible criteria who have impair function of at least one upper limb with good trunk balance. They need wheelchair  ambulation without back support.

PE3 athletes with paraplegia or other eligible criteria who have full function of both upper limbs and need to have wheelchair for ambulation without back support.

 

Standing Competition 

PE4 athletes with eligible criteria who have impair function of both upper and lower limbs but they can walk with or without gait aid or orthoses/prosthesis.

PE5 athletes with eligible criteria who have full function of both upper limbs but impair both lower limbs function. They can walk with gait aid or orthoses/prosthesis.

PE6 athletes with eligible criteria who have full function of both upper limbs but impair only one lower limb function. They can walk with gait aid or orthoses/prosthesis.

PE7 athletes with eligible criteria who have impair both upper limbs function but have full function of both legs and can walk independently.

PE8 athletes with eligible criteria who have impair only one upper limb function but have full function of both legs and can walk independently.

PE9 short stature who has maximum body height of 137 cm for female Athletes and 145 cm for male Athletes
